Clear conscience,
happy belly.

  • All of our street food units use 100% compostable food packaging, compostable napkins, and bamboo cutlery, all made from sustainably-grown plant fibres.
  • We use bamboo plates and cutlery as standard at private events like weddings (although we also offer hired crockery if desired)
  • We only ever serve drinks from our bar using paper straws and reusable polycarbonate glasses.
  • We subscribe to a local composting service who collect our food waste and distribute it across the community as compost
  • We have adapted our menu to reduce the amount of meat on offer and are even able to cater for full-vegan weddings.
  • We buy our ingredients as locally as possible to reduce food miles as best we can.
  • While we do have to use wholesalers for some things to ensure consistency in our product, we buy fruit and vegetables from independent vendors whenever possible.
  • Our used cooking oil is collected to be recycled into sustainable biofuels.
  • We do not serve fish.
  • The wood used in our smoker and pizza oven is sourced for us by a local tree surgeon
  • We use seasonal produce where we can.
  • We do not waste food. In the unlikely event there is any food leftover after an event it is either eaten up by our staff, or packaged up and given to the nearest homeless person/s.
  • All our staff are properly trained chefs and know how to prepare meat and vegetables as efficiently as possible to minimise food waste.
  • We cook with gas where possible to avoid having to use the diesel generators at large-scale events.
  • We use our equipment efficiently and only when needed.

We care deeply about the environment and do our best to minimise our carbon footprint. We continue to evolve our practises and are always looking for ways to improve.
